    I went into recruit training in good tip top shape, honestly, I left there a little worse off (got bi-lateral pneumonia) In the end, it will be how much you have pushed yourself. You should always strive to do your best, no matter how sick or out of shape you are. To answer your question, YES!

    1 of the proudest days of my life was when we graduated and the called us "Marines".

    The other proudest days were the births of my daughters(13 3 and 1 otw)
    My 13r old was about3 or so and called me gumby when Ig ot home at night.

    lol, you know, on the Hayes side of my family there is quite a proud tradition of Marines. My 2 great uncles and grandpa fought in Korea. My grandpa fought at the Chosin Resevoir and received the Bronze Star. Couldn't be more proud to carry on the name and tradition! SEMPER FI My Brothers!!
