Info on the MOS of Cook

Yeah, in case I fail at driving so much that I can't get my license before I ship, I'd like to ask about the position of cook. It's always good to expand your knowledge of one of your possible future jobs, right?

It's probably not what you think it is... Most of the time the civilians will do the cooking, except for when you're in the field. And you're not going to work for quality and making the food taste amazing, you're just going to make sure that food gets out the other Marines.

I wasn't exactly expecting to be making Cordon Bleu (sp?), but I wasn't really expecting to be given a pot, a rifle, and a couple tomatos before being dumped on the reserve base either.
