Bob her name is Troy is she is my friend and Rocky's and she is definitely a female. If I was her I would get pretty tired of explaining my name. Hell I was thinking about changing my name to Sue

I get used to it, Red. I have noticed on here that when people check out my profile, they just see "Troy" and don't scroll down to see the "Female" box checked. All my parts are original girl parts.

I suppose I should put us some more "girly" pictures or maybe my actual picture.

Kind of funny though --everyone talking about Brokeback Mnt and I come in and start talking about riding with my cowboy BF. LOL

Montana you and me seem to work with horse the same way. Being slow helps them and last for a life time. Its funny even if I don't ride for awhile the first time in the saddle I don't get saddle sore but my wife does.
There's nothing like working with a green horse in a round pen.
I have a 60 foot round pen and its in the middle of our riding ring I built which is 80X200. It was funny when I was building the riding ring it started 40X70 then my wife kept wanting it bigger so I kept going and now its a big as I can get with the land layout. Don't have a fence around it anymore except on one side and a bank on the other. I keep it scraped from holes but its only dirt. We have roll fencing around all the property with lots of gates so I can take the truck and tractor anywhere.
Hope everyone has a great day.

    Afternoon Marines,
Well the horse trailer is hooked up and just waiting to pick up the horse for a week.
Cody is running around like nothing is wrong with him but if you ride him just for 10 min his hocks swell up and he is sore for days. He's 26 now I think. Its funny how horse people seem to forget how old there horses are. Seems like yesterday that Cody was 12 years old when I bought him.
He was such a fast and fine barrel horse and would turn on a dime. Lots of good times with him and Redman.

    Morning Cowboy Marines,
Picked up the horse yesterday and at first Cody didn't give her any attention which has never happened. But after about one hour they are buddies.
Going to be a good day with my niece coming over and riding to show off what she has learned.
Its a funny story she called and wanted to know if she could buy Aunt Karen a little chic and I said yes. Then they said could we take them back home and bring them back Easter. Of course I said yes.
Hope everyone has a great day

    Howdy Cowboy Marines,
Today was a disappointed day for our little niece. She wanted to buy two chicks from Tractor Supply and they would only sell six at a time. They called me and I said no.
Then they came back home and went to ride the mare I borrowed but I thought she was to frisky even after Karen rode her. She was a rescue horse I borrowed for a week and was not acting right plus just after Karen rode her for five minutes in the round pen she was breathing hard.
I'll try again tomorrow but when it comes to my nieces or grand-kids safety comes first. Although when I was a kid my grandparents would just throw me on anything and watch me go. Horses, Goats, Pony's and anything I could ride. Those were the days.
My niece is only seven years old and took it well and wanted to spend the night with us. Right now she is the only one that likes to stay with us and feed all the animals and scoop poop.
Hope everyone has a good evening
    Happy Trails

    Evening Cowboy Marines,
Rocky if I had know that I would have bought the chicks and sent you four. I finally put my foot down and said NO!!!!
What a day, took the other horse back and picked up a Tenn Walker which was a great horse. After picking her up and grooming her and fixing the tack to fit her and my niece my niece rode for a whopping 30 min.
At least Karen got to ride also and I'm keeping her for the rest of the week.
You just can't please kids these days
Finally Karen took her to Karen's Mom and Dads for supper and I have a quite house to myself and fixing Lasagna for supper.
    Happy Easter and Happy Trails

    Morning Cowboy Marines
Camp Buddy has turned into Camp Muddy with all the rain
My riding ring looks pretty good after I scraped it this week and is draining good with no puddles in it.
Hope Karen and my niece get to ride the mare today before I take her back home tomorrow.
Cody has been acting like a stud horse this week with his Johnson hanging down all the time and the mare in heat, what a sight. Just like us men never gets too old for a woman.
And the mare just like a woman when she gets enough of attention she kicks the heck out of him.
Got to get the bucket fixed on the tractor, I sure do miss the bucket. Still can lift things up but the cylinder that dumps broke and all I need is a new cylinder.
Around here we use the bucket for all kinds of things. Karen lifts me up and I cut tree limbs. Drive in fence post, scoop poo, move dirt, lift stuff in the barn loft and so on. Makes life much easier. When I was a kid we had a scoop on the back of the tractor that worked off the 3 point hitch and a rope you puled to dump it. It worked pretty good but you couldn't move much dirt at a time.
    Everyone have a GREAT day
