That reminds me. My grandmother and grandfather on my dad's side used to compare techniques with each other. My grandmother would snatch said chicken up by the neck and throttle the bastard like he crapped in her cheerios. The little sh!t would run around and thrash around a bit for a while.

My grandfather was far more pragmatic. He'd pick the bird up by the left wing and thrust the knife edge of his fingers into the armpit, creating enough trauma to stop the heart and stopping all movement instantly.
