I'm home and ready to give some advice.

    1. Speed, Volume, and Intensity at all times. (Move fast, be loud, and perform to the best of your abilities!)
    2. It will be the most fun you've ever had and will NEVER want to have again.
    3. You will be SO proud when you get out you cant stand it.
    4. A general concensus with my platoon was "We love it here and kind of dont want to leave."
    5. First phase, and second phase things dont get easier, you just get better.
    6. If you think the drill instructors are wrong, you're wrong so shut your fat mouth and scream "Aye Sir." Never argue with them, or talk back. Just do what you're told and scream "Aye Sir."
    7. Dont get upset when you get messed with or ITed, learn to enjoy it because it makes you better.
    8. EVERYTHING you do on the island is for a purpose, and you probably wont understand it until later in training.
    9. The things you go through on the island are unexplainable to anyone else who hasnt gone through it, and it feels good to have something most people dont.
    10. I'll be glad to answer questions with what little time I have, so ask away.
    11. Most important of all of any advice I can give you is to make sure you're in shape before you go. Be able to do 5 to 10 pullups, 60 to 100 siutups, and run atleast 12 minutes on a 1 1/2 mile. (The running will improve quickly through training, but the pull ups increase by individual effort.)

    -Pvt. Rinaldo, USMC.

    Thank you Marines and poolees!
It feels damn good to claim the title and I'm doing everything in my power to represent it the way I should. Its driving my girlfriend a little crazy already but shes getting use to it.

Best thing I've ever done in my life.

Do you make her wear moto shirts, stand at parade rest and open her mouth when she talks to you?

Have fun on leave and make sure you don't end up staying a PVT

Yea for real, I had a friend who got a DUI on leave. Going from E-4 to E-1 is not cool.
