Question about a MOS

My grandfather was with a force recon unit in vietnam. I would like to know what MOS I need to request for and if anyone knows what I would need to do other than work my ass off to earn that title, please feel free to share. I look forward to joining the brotherhood and I thank all of you for your time.

You can start off by filling out your profile per the rules of this site.

Then do a search both here and on the internet for the information you seek. If you come up dry, then you ask your questions here. Just type in recon at the top of your search and I bet 99.9% of your questions have already been answered in the threads that will show up.

Force recons supposedly being disbanded cause of Marsob and Marsag but your best bet is to get ur recruiter to hook you up with an 0321 or 03xx contract and just be an all around super stud (high asvabs, pt stud, show leadership) if you want to go the whole marsoc route you'll have to probably wait till your a sgt, but as far as I know they are still takeing 21's as pfc's in itb.
