My suggestion would be to play it safe and show up in your Alpha's, unless otherwise directed. At least when I was in; you always showed up to an assigned school or new duty station in your Alpha's...you newer Marines correct me if I'm wrong on that.
My other suggestion would be to call ahead, and whatever your senior tells you; then make haste and get squared away.
...and congrats on graduating boot. Now, become the Marine you want to be.

Marine,
Call the Recruiter shop today - be pro-active! If you have any doubt, ask more questions. They may beat you up a bit if you're questions seem naive, but I guarantee that you will prefer that to showing up improperly uniformed. If your weather is wet or cold the appropriate sweater and/or all-weather coat will be smart to have with you. Remember that the Recruiter's Uniform of the day could change depending on the activities scheduled, so keep your ears open, and ask the questions. You can't avoid being the new boot, so at least be the smart new boot. Bring a change of clothes for PT in case they assign you to go run a DEP'er around the track or something.
I also suggest that you show up with at least one potential recruit with you. Remember that recruiting is their primary job, and you are working towards their mission while you are getting the extended leave at home. Make your time there worthwhile, and they will thank you for it.
If you go out for drinks, continue to respect all rank structures appropriately. Please learn from my experience and don't puke on the SNCOIC's shoes at the bar. Aim for a civilian if the opportunity presents itself.
Good luck Marine!

I would agree show up in Alpha's and bring your diddy bag with pt gear and others..... in the car to play it safe. That way if you are told to change you have your gear right there. it will look better to show them your ready. That what i think.

Plain and Simple call ahead and find out your duties and uniform.

I called ahead and asked if I should show up in my service charlies. They were like, yeah sure. Then I got there and they were all in civies. They were like, come in civies and bring your uniform on a hanger tomorrow. And I spent the remaining 6 days in civilian attire. It all depends on whether they need numbers now or don't.

Call ahead and ask. I don't believe that there is any set uniform across the board for that. It may depend on what that RS wants you to wear. I know I wore Dress Blue bravo's when I was on RA but that was in 2002.
