Marines with 2/1 Nov '67 - Mar '69
I began my professional career with the Marine Corps in 1967 in Vietnam and will retire following my current assignment with a U.S. oil company in Ho Chi Minh City, which will end in 2014. Just arrived back in the Nam on 03JAN10 for my current assignment, but looking forward to retiring in Chiang Mai, Thailand...eventually.
Five years ago, my wife and I toured I Corps beginning in DaNang, with visits to Marble Mountain, Hue, Dong Ha, Quang Tri, Phu Bai, Rock Pile and Khea Sanh (which is now a coffee plantation). The Citidale in Hue hasn't changed much since Tet of '68.
Trying to locate SSgt Quintana, Lt Cowan, Cpl Breese, LCpl Tom McFadden and LCpl Dudas.
Semper Fi and God Bless all U.S.M.C. Vietnam Vets,
Sgt. Ed Morgan
