One of my class mates was stationed with me at Lejuene in 59-60. Babara Faye Coggin was one of the best Women Marines I ever met. Spent a lot of time waiting in the lobby for her and it was worth every minute of it. WMs have my respect.

Sgt. Hall, we old salts got to show the way. I'm 70 next month and ready to go. Got a new hip and knee and only 4 pounds over my enlistment date. Got my 782 and a good old M-1 Garand. Still swim 10 laps everyday and trot a couple of miles. I would be proud to fight along side of all my fellow Marines, be they young pups or old salts. Semper Fi to all my brothers and sisters, young and old. Gung ho

    Hi Gunny,

Thanks for the reply. My reply is delayed 'cuz still learning how to navigate this terrain. The only diff between the 2 of us is that I have all my original parts.
I stay pretty busy so I can still move pretty good.

    "W. Phillip Deal" checking in.
    '62'-'66 from Company D, Platoon 151.
Also, I/3/4, D/1/6 and 2nd Shore Party Bn if you're looking for me.

Anyone serve with or under JDI, Sgt. W. H. Murphy in '62 time frame at PI or elsewhere? Did Murphy take your Platoon through PI? I need his first name!

While our SDI, SSGt. W. E. Dilsaver has moved on to his last assignment, we've had our JDIs, 1stSgt Jan Gartside and 1stSgt Ron Snogles at our last reunion and need to resolve Murphy.

e-mail if you can help. Nice finding you guys here................thanks for waiting on me.
