Talk to your Gunnery Sergeant at your RSS and see about the dates. I'm sure he'll accommodate your schedule and not give you one before November if you ask nicely.

Oh yeah i already did, he asked me when i would like to go and i said around November and he said alright. I already took the ASVAB and talked over a lot of things but i haven't gone to MEPS and DEP in.

Thanks. Good look to all poolees lol. Plus shipping in November gives me plenty of time to work out... i have been improving myself. Lost a little over 20 pounds already in a couple of weeks. Never in my life i remember doing a pull up and i could do 2 now lol. I weigh 218 but im tall so i dont look really fat but truelly i guess im still a fat body. I want to be atleast below 200 or 190 by the time i ship out.

If you were to lose another 20 pounds but only by doing it by working out such as lifting weights and running instead of starving your self, you damhn well be able to do 6-7. I put 20 pounds on and I can only do 4-5 pull ups. Dropping weight will get your pull ups up ALOT faster but only if your not starving your muscles.

That is the idea i had when i started. Less weight=more pull ups and running faster. I don't starve myself but i have changed what i eat definitely in a better way. I believe i have lost most of the weight that i have lost from running, because i spend most of my work out time running but i do get some weightlifting in as well.
