Looks like I am getting a $7,500 bonus and Airborne school! I guess I got lucky to have one of the best jobs in the Marine Corps.

Hey shirty1 you aren't a marine yet and you don't have the $7,500 bonus yet until you graduate your mos school. It's probably like a follow on jump school or something it makes no sense that you can fly on the enlisted side but on the commissioned side yes you could.

Don't call it "airborne" it confuses everyone here. It is called jump school and you don't get to fly..all it is, is you jumping out of an airplaine. And yes I know that you have to go through your MOS schooling after MCT it's standard procedures that all marines nowdays do. You don't have to explain that part to me, I'm a marine remember? And no you don't earn your wings before you attend the school that makes absolutley no sense. You have to go through your jump school in order to earn your jump wings. Hope that helped you clear up all this confusion and good luck making it to the fleet!
