    MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO, Va. —

    The Quantico Marine Corps Band put on a brief show during the pregame ceremony Sunday at FedEx Field before the Washington Redskins faced off against the St. Louis Rams. The band’s performance included “The Armed Forces Medley,” with one of the band’s specialties, “Apotheosis Marines’ Hymn,” along with an Iwo Jima flag raising reenactment.

    Other Marine Corps highlights at the game included a performance by the Silent Drill Platoon, color guard, singing of the National Anthem, flyover, and Marines, including Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Sgt. Maj.Carlton Kent, witnessing the coin toss.
