    Question RE Code Change

I have discussed this topic before but in a different aspect. I submitted paperwork (DD149,etc) to HQ USMC in Quantico almost two months ago. I called shortly after I sent it, and spoke to the Mstr. Sgt that is in charge of RE Codes and the applications for changes involving them. He said he had received my paperwork and I should hear within two months. It's been right around two months and I have yet to receive an answer. How long does this usually take? Does anyone else here have any experience with this process and if so what was your turn around time for your reply?

I'm just wondering if I should call HQ USMC again and check on the status, or just ride it out and wait longer. Also, I'm concerned they might have mailed the decision to the wrong address (the one on my DD214 is way outdated). Any replies or advice is much welcome. Thanks and Semper Fi

I waited a little over 2 months to get my dd214 copies mailed to me. as for the address it was updated when I filled out a request for the papers. If you didnt fill it out i suggest you call and get it changed.I had no special request, I just needed my papers so maybe yours maybe a little longer. SEMPER FI!
