Pround to be a PI Gyrine, but I place no value on who is better trained..I love my fellow San Diego Marines as well as those trained else where like at Muntford Point.
I never could chose who I served with. I do know that they were all great Marines.

Oh yeah - about the previous post . . I don't remember anything except Alpha through Delta. One of you ex-DI's can square that one away. As a matter of fact, I didn't know that I was in Charlie until I saw a boot brother post that he was in Charlie Co. All I knew was I was in PLT 173, 1st BN, May-July 1967.

I was in basic training at Parris Island, Jan. 1964, Plt 2A and I can hardly remember of it all, but I do remember one thing for sure. I was transferred to CamPen and off all things to happen was of our platoon DI. was also transferred. For some odd reason I never did like her, and never will forget her name Cpl. Carpenito. Never have regretted one minute of being in the Marines and just wish I could have stayed in longer than I did. Semper Fi

Click on "MY INFO" towards the top of the page, the next window will open up and you will see a list on the left hand side of the screen scroll down to "Networking" and click on "Social Groups" and it will show you which groups you can join, that is where you will find it.
