    Sorry, that was my mistake, thanks for the clarification. I usually refer a palm facing in grip as a chin up. And for chin ups you rely more on your arm strength than your back strength to get your chin over the bar. So like Lance Corporal BR43 clarified, biceps/triceps/forearms will be a more important factor when doing chin ups. But you'll want to train those regardless as you'll want a well rounded body in every aspect
