Looking for your graduation book ?

I have my copy of the graduation book from Platoon 1004 that was at San Deigo starting Noevember 13, 1964 if any person needs phpto copies of any thing in it. I also would like to track one or more copies of the book to give to my relatives.

Just in case anyone reading this knows I am looking for MCRD San Dieg from May 69, platoon 1082. Lost mine years ago and would really like to replace it.

Read the posts in this thread. There is an address that you can get any graduation book from SD all the way back to the 30's.

My father passed away in March of 2009. I have had all of his possessions stored in my attic. I have just now been able to stomach going through them without getting emotional. I found his Marine Corps book. I did not see the list I quickly skimmed here on this website. It's the Platoon 386 and looks like he graduated Oct. 5th 1959. That is what he wrote in the back of the book. The time he entered and the end date of what I just mentioned. Does anyone know someone that is looking for this book? I would love to see someone get some happiness from the pictures. Please understand I'm not ready to give it up, but I can definitely make copies or help someone out. I can scan pages without damaging the book more. I almost forgot to mention... He graduated in Parris Island, South Carolina. Please feel free to email me if I can help you. I was in boot camp in 68 and have my book, I never had a problem scanning pictures from it.. just be careful opening it... if you start to hear crackling..... OOPS..
