    Active to Reserve

    Okay, I'm a poolee signed up as active duty. I have not yet gone to boot or anything, obviously. I am considering my option of changing to reserves before I ship out, that way I will have more time for education towards a degree and to learn my spanish fluently. I want the Marines, yet I also have a need for the other aspects. How about could I go to approach my recruiter? Is it just a paperwork change or is it a big change to go through?
