PARRIS ISLAND was more than i expected!! i think the moto run over shadowed the graduation but both days were a unreal experience.my Marine has been home for three days, last night i asked him if he was ready to go back.he replied that he was happy to be home and to relax but yes he was ready to leave for SOI.i must admit i like having him around but i was very proud of his answer.

Congratulations to you, your family and most of all your brand new US Marine! My son loved SOI but admitted that it was much harder than Boot Camp, but being a new Marine, he was up for the challenge.
Good luck to your son!
