Vulgarity

Alright Marines, I have a 'I'm curious' question for you. I've been hearing and hearing about the new show Generation Kill, and how it's supposed to be spot on with the real thing. It doesn't matter to me either way, but in the series they often make sick jokes, cuss, and are very vulgar. I found it to create a light mood in the most tense circumstances, and even made me laugh once or twice. My question is this: is this a:
Marine thing
Infantry thing
0321 thing
or individual persons thing

Just curious as to what this style is connected to. I've heard that it's a signature of recon to say the 'f' word every other word, but I was just curious as to what real Marines thought. Thanks a ton Marines!

It's an Infantry thing. A lot of the language and insults are more tame then I remember.
