Yeah my Step-son is a SSgt in the Army and I am very proud of him. Four tours in the Middle East and three purple hearts in eight days in his final one.

Thrown out is kinda harsh. I would believe he would have given his bad knees to have stayed a Marine. I had friends who left the Corps early due to medical reasons and I think they all would have rather finished their tour. The fact that he tried, and failed due to circumstances beyond his control, is enough to earn my respect.

Naw, not harm, no foul, just no Marines.

Dad was a pilot in WWII in the Army Air Corps. His Dad was Army in WWI.

Scads of Uncles and other relatives in the service, but I am the only Marine.

    They all served well.
