How many relatives do you have who are Marines, names and years served?
My Dad Cpl Robert N May Sr. 1955-1957 and my Uncle (Dad's Brother) Cpl James P. May 1954-1956.

Congrats, mcvet,,,,,,, My brother went 4 yrs before me, but was thrown out for bad knees.......

Thrown out is kinda harsh. I would believe he would have given his bad knees to have stayed a Marine. I had friends who left the Corps early due to medical reasons and I think they all would have rather finished their tour. The fact that he tried, and failed due to circumstances beyond his control, is enough to earn my respect.

Father - Warren - 1943 - 1946 - Cpl, 6th Marines Scout/Snipers at Saipan and Tinian (WIA several times)
Maternal Great-uncle - Louis - Captain, dive-bomber pilot. KIA, Nov1942, Guadalcanal.
Me, 1971 - 1977
My younger brother, Matthew, LCpl, 1975 - 1978. Baker, MCLB Barstow
