    Exclamation Korean War Display

    Korean War Display

Boscov's is honoring Korean War veterans with two display windows showcasing men in uniform.
The display features Korean War medals, missing soldier memorabilia, letters, and contains original Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force uniforms.
Roy Shaul fought in with 3rd Battalion division of the Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He says seeing the dress blues brings back good memories but also makes him remember that freedom comes at a price.

Roy Shaul says, "Freedom isn't free, and we live in the best country and it costs to live in this country."

And those costs are now also being recognized by Congress. The house passed legislation to grant a Federal Charter for Korean War Veterans so they may be recognized with a prestigious classification.
Veterans are expected to visit Binghamton for the Veterans of Foreign Wars 89th Annual State convention June 25th through 29th.
