Morning All, NoRe, Kepp us updated. My first one, the wife and I left the house to sun, snd as soon as we entered the Main Gate to Camp LeJeune it poured all the way to the Naval Hospital. Drove 15 MPH all the way wandering if I would get there in time. LOL Redman, Don't have a red USMC cap, got a brown bulldog one, a white one with EGA, and two black ones, but I have a KC Chiefs red and gold cap. I'll wear that to work. Chees omelette, picante sauce, and coffee started the day. Rain in the forecast 50% chance. Highs in the 70s. Gotta get a bunch of outside chores done this weekend. Trim the hedge, grass trimmer work, pick up doggy doo, and spray the yard for dandylions for a start. All have a geat day. SF

No clue what breakfast will be but it will include coffee-on that you can rely..

Off to do some admin crap for the littlest one...get her checked out again at the hospital. Then back to talk to housing again. Should be an easy day. Start packing for the move... Y'all have a good day now..

Artyops-Still the same way, but we had to wait for my boot azz to reup for them to give me a house... SF

Well congratulations! PM me with an address and I'll send some coffee for those long nights. BTW, I don't think that moving with a pregnant wife was too much easier anyway.

Well that was a short day. Home already. Got in one delivery before the rain moved in. Got a long weekend. Bought a beef roast for the grill this weekend. I have a simple cooking recipie.

Pre-Heat the grill on high and rub the roast with Lowery's seasoned salt, or your fav rub (all sides), set the roast on the grate, add some hickory chips to the smoker box, close the lid, and let it sear on high for 20 to 30 minutes (do not open the lid). Then move it to one side, shut the burner off under it, and turn the other burner down to Med. Close the lid, and let it cook for an hour. Medium rare center, and crunchy seasoned edges. Yummmmmm !!!

Serve with faux baked beans (I have a killer stove top recipie), cole slaw, and/or potato salad, and corn on the cob, and you will be in summer grill heaven. SF

I had tried to post about my wifes birthday celebration. She is 23 again. Other forums at least give you a clue why it was deleted. Anyway the birthday turned out good.

All Marines and docs that visit this thread have a great day.
NoRemorse you are gonna be a daddy soon. Congratulations ahead of time.

Best wishes on her b-day. How many years experience does she have at being 23? I am myself "thirtytwentytwo", or 30 with 22 years experience. SF

At 1548 today my son came tearing into the world at 7 pounds ,7 ounces, 20.1 inches of rip-snorting baby.

Water broke at 0110, headed to the hospital at 0630, up in a room and settled by 0700. I'm fvcking beat, the wife is in her hospital room sleeping. I'm at home readying the house for their arrival on Sunday. Heading back over there in the morning, probably won't be back here until Sunday or Monday.

    Semper Fi.
