Sorry gang... had two teeth pulled this afternoon and the Oxycodone (and that's the correct spelling) is kicking in !!
One was fractured right up the middle. Had a post and crown and it was right along the post. The one next to it was in bad shape under the gum line due to the fractured one (lots of bacteria and stuff). So, got em both yanked. Dr. packed the area full of bone growth material and comes next spring we will do an implant to stabilize everything.

Woulda thought those pills would have knocked my out -- nope.
Stayed up and watched the tube and did a few things on the old computer.
Now I gotta wait for SS to "wake up" and get a few things done there still.

"Retirement"... I got more to do now then EVER !!! (and I love it!!).

Morning All!
Went to my first day of work at school yesterday after being off since last April. Had half a day of training and will go in for another half day today. Then I am off until the last week of August and start with the kids the day after Labor Day. This working part-time in retirement is great. I went to the Social Security office and the guy there crunched the numbers for me. It turns out that if I was willing to give up a few bucks in benefits, I could start drawing my SS while I am on vacation from work (May, Jun, July, & August) and still work and draw my pay during the school year. As it is working out, I will be making over $32K more in retirement than when I was working full-time. On most of my income, there is far fewer taxes being taken out and I end up with more in my pocket. Things are really working out well. My military retirement has really been a benefit.
