Hope everyone had a good Easter and that all of you have a great Easter Monday
Yesterday was a good day here at Camp Buddy just enjoying our horses and other critters.
It was so nice around we didn't hear any lawnmowers, weedeaters or nothing it was just peaceful.
Even our Tractor Supply was closed.
I'm glad that some compaines take a few days off to respect the ocasion.
With the fast pace these days its hard to know one day from the next but yesterday seemed like Easter Sunday.

Morning All!
A bit cooler this morning in West Tennessee, but weather looks good. I'm going in to work today to write up my final report on my Race to the Top Reading Program. I hope the numbers work out well. The proof will be in the pudding...next week the state tests are given. We'll see if the kids I tutored do well or not.
I read about a WWII vet who was told, "Thanks for your service." He said it was only the 3rd time anyone ever said it to him. I want to say to everyone here, "Thanks for your service!" and I hope you and every vet out there hear it often.
I also was told by a civilian friend of mine (4F type) that he was watching an auto auction show on TV where a Mustang was all decked out in military colors and was signed by thousands of veterans. One of the people on stage asked if the President signed it. The response was that only real Americans signed the car. There was a huge round of applause and the car went on to be sold for half a million dollars all of which went to a fund to support veterans. The guy wrote the check and turned around and had the car auctioned again for $450,000. It has been my experience that the vast majority of military people would like a new commander-in-chief, yet, they obey the lawful orders of the President. That speaks volumes for our system of government and the military that keeps it free. It also says volumes about how veterans take care of fellow veterans.

I love you guys and gals. You're the best of America. Thanks for your service!
