Good day and yes I know...been AWOL for most of the year. I have been busy ending my teaching career here and retired from the State and have been looking for work down Florida way. No one wants to hire old farts..age discrimination that you can't prove. Anyway, I am still around and kicking. I hope those of you that are on my mailing list have been getting the ecards I send at different holidays through the year and knew I was still around.
Take care and Semper Fi

Good early friggen morning! Yes indeed, it's up and almost at 'em right about now. "Almost at 'em" being the operative phrase. It's about 79 degrees outside right now with the high being around 89. It should be a good day for going outside and doing something pleasurable if you can. Just been informed by Social Security that I have officially reached retirement age. I feel like having soft food to eat. LOL. Officially, now I can tell the little lady of the house, when she asks me to do something, "Not today, honey. I'm officially retired." (Yeh, right. I'll see how far that goes.)
All the best to each and every one of you. Have the best day possible. And if you had to get up in the O Dark Thirty of the day to take a leak...make the best of it and hit the pot and not the lid.
Adios, for now.
Gary

Hello - hot - humid - and a very miserable day! I'm staying inside as much as possible. This is one time I am glad I live in modern times - air conditioning!
Applied for another 4 jobs today. That makes about a dozen jobs I have applied for in the past two weeks and no responses.
Hope everyone is doing well. I'll check in again later.

Doc, hope the implants work out for you. I'm getting 2 molar implants at the Boston VA in December. The Providence VA doesn't do them because of the bone grafting, Eat soft food

Morning all
Started off very warm and is climbing...news said we might have another record-breaking high temperature today. I am trying to clean up my "computer room". I hope I can finish it up today. I need to get my other computer up and running.
The implants are a great thing! I had one done several months ago. Had no pain at all and I healed up quickly. Except for the cost. . .good thing I had two dental plans...it still cost me $500 out-of-pocket.
Everyone be well! Semper Fi
