Afternoon fellow Leathernecks. 79° with clear skies and light wind so far ,but as always that's subject to change at any moment.. April was a good month for rain here we received over 5" of rain in April as to compare to last year about 1" I think..
Think I'm going to relax and set back and watch the birds fly about my back patio in my two setter rocking chair.

Morning to all. I've been off line for a few days. It's become my turn to have medical problems involving my son. On Monday he took an overdose of my Xanax and has been in pediatrics ICU since. He's OK now and will probably be released later today, but he was a messed up kid for the first 24-hours. He was lucky I was home.

They think the OD was accidental in that he took a few to get a high, but once up there decided to take more to get higher, not knowing the OD effects. He claims to remember taking four tabs. He also had THC in his system.

Lesson learned: Keep that stuff locked up from kids. Mine is going into my safe.

He'll be going to a re-hab facility for a mandatory evaluation, then he'll be placed in in-patient or out-patient treatment as necessary. His mother and I want him to have some in-patient time.

I don't know when I'll be back on regularly again, but I will try to stick my nose in periodically. This is being posted through the hospital wi-fi system.

Good morning to all reading the Morning Zephyr thread,
The rain will be disapating later and the weather will start to turn warmer by this afternoon. Maybe I'll get to put my tomato plants in the ground this weekend. We will try to get to the range tomorrow evening for some much needed pistol practice for my wife.

Chris, at this rough spot in your boy's life my thoughts are with you Brother. Doc Wilder, Rocky, Doc Greek, Ray, and EC Free you're on my mind as well.

Between Freds Son Matt and Your Son and the 6 month anniversary of the passing of My 30 year old Son Christopher this Sunday my eyes are leaking and I'm starting to get a little shaky right now so I'm going to try and shake this feeling off.

Subject: Flag on Floor at GameStop, People walk on it Request Type: MCL

Comments: The below location of GameStop has a likeness of the American flag
on the floor that people step on as they walk into the store. The workers
told me that it was OK, because they made a slight alternation to it. It is
of the original 13 states flag, with an A in the middle.

This is the ultimate insult of a flag. The clerk said the flag likeness will
stay on the floor of the doorway because more people do not care than people
complain. Below is the phone number, call them.

I am sending out emails to Veteran Groups because I do not know what to do.
