Avoiding Black Friday. Upper 30's here in Austin. Going to the YMCA this morning to work out and then going to a dinner & movie with fellow MCRD San Diego Marine & wife.

Morning all, 30 degrees outside my window. Slept in, well if ya call waking up at 0400 and then just laying there drifting in and out of sleep till 0715 sleeping in. Nothing planned for the day. I refuse to fall for the Black Friday BS. Will avoid shopping till early Sunday morning when we go to wally-world for groceries. Maybe a trip to the adult bev store in between then and now. Hope everyone gained 10 lbs yesterday. The Ham was awesome, and the tater salad and pumpkin pie unbelievable. Now to get through the Christmas advertisement blitz. Gotta suck to be a paperboy or mailman this time of year. SF

Well Good Morning all !!!
It’s a Beautiful Day here in Kansas . We have 50 Degrees outside and had an over night low of 9 degrees … Turkey Day was good ate my share f bird and it was ggooodddd !!!
I did the bird and gravy and stuffing and rolls with some veggies, wife did the pecan pie and helped me around the house. She had been real sick this past week but now she’s doing better thank goodness for that.. Hope everyone has a great weekend ahead and let the Season Begin

Good early friggen morning, especially to all those who had to get up and take a leak like I just did...thinking that it was 0530 or so when in reality it was 0230. Beer will do that to ya. Can't give you a weather outlook right now. All I can say is that it is dark outside.
Anyhow, I survived "Black Friday" but it wasn't easy. Traffic was a monster and most courtesies took a back seat with the prices on merchandise not all that different from sales during the year. Bought a software from a retail store (a download only program) , went back to the retail store because I was dissatisfied with the program, hoping for some kind of exchange. What I got was a sympathetic T.S. (tough sh*t) response. Software purchases are like that. Know what you are buying or you are going to have to suck it up and count your losses. In my case, I said that the add was misleading. Buyer beware. The program is good but not exactly what I wanted.
Oh, well, wtf, it is time to move on to today's activities and maybe watch a couple of football games after some household chores have been completed. Hope that this day brings some happiness into your lives wether it be good news or a good fart. Have the best day possible. Prayers and well wishes outgoing to all in need.

4 days in a row off. Amazing LOL. Been poking around the house doing odd chores. I would say we are about 95% unpacked.

Good Morning Devil Dogs,
I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far? I know I’m trying to have one and so far I’m doing well. Right now we have 20 degrees outside and sunshine and clear skies and no wind yet!!
Been eating yard-bird for two days and snaking on it also Man I do love my yard-bird.
