    Good Morning all.
I know, I have been remiss in checking in... well, I have been reading the posts every day, just that a few things happened, both in my personal life and on the computer, so I kinda pulled back and waited out the "arty" barrage. It's not over, but I can stick my head up now and look around for a few seconds.

On a good note, while in Delaware yesterday, I happened to meet a brother Marine from the SIXTH DIV! Yes, the 6th Div. Was part of the battle for Okinawa. I have invited him to stop in and meet you guys, so here's hoping he does.

To all you wonderful brothers and sisters, may you find a pain free day and for at least that day, may luck shine down and make everything go the way you need it. May the aches and pains be forgotten, the houses found, the pack mules not act up and toss the coffee pot down a gully!

To each and all, the very best.
    Fred.

Always wandered about that actually. If you Lat moved to the Marines from say, the Army, would your ribbons earned in the Army be worn on your Marine Corps uniform, and vice versa? SF
    1) I was actually awarded a ribbon and another medal the day I signed up with the Guard. The real colorful ribbon on the end is the Army service ribbon and I also received a star on my National Defense.
    2) Yeah if you earned a medal/ribbon you keep them, I wear my Marine good conduct and NAM on my Army uniforms. In fact there was a prior service seal in my OCS class and he wore his trident at graduation.

No problem. I wasn't calling you on your ribbons. Was just curious. If you earned it flaunt it. Be proud of your sacrifice. Anyone who re-enlists has my respect. SF

Good evening, Marines. I do believe I missed morning roll.

    Guess my libo is secured...

The boy is asleep, the wife is napping on the couch, Goodfellas is on in the background and the dog is guarding the fridge with his life... I mean us.

Gonna work on a few projects outside as soon as the sun sets and the temp drops.

Hope everyone is pain free or feeling better lately. Taking the wife to the dentist on Tuesday. Should be good...

    Prayers outbound.
