    Morning Marines
40 degrees and clear this morning
Another hamburger for breakfast this morning just call me the "Hamburglar". Something about a hamburger that you don't get hungry for a long time afterward, it work for me.
Hope all of you have a GREAT day and Doc hope you are on line today and that you got moved O.K.
Marines check out LCpl Hayes thread Afghanistan Nothing like supporting those Marines.
To bad we didn't have something like that when we were in Nam. Although I'm not sure I would have wanted to stay in contact that much. I put home out of my mind and I think to many distractions would have been bad. I never even let my wife and parents know how bad it was when I was writing them. I would always say everything was O.K. no matter how much **** we took. Sometimes no news was good news.
    Have a GREAT day Marines

Mornin all. Hey hamburglar!! My father-in-law, a retired Marine, Nam Vet, SSgt, whenever we go out for breakfast has a hamburger, and fries and a shake, or coke for breakfast. LOL He gets some weird looks sometimes. Must be a Nam Vet thing. After dropping my first Micrwave JD breakfast bowl on the floor (dogs were in heaven), and digging another out of the freezer, I managed to get something eaten. 35 degrees, and a major winter storm due in the area starting in the west this morning, and reaching the east end of the state around midnight tonight. Another 20-30 inches expected in parts of western South Dakota, 4-7 here with a blizzard warning out for most of the rest of the state. Good thing I didn't put the snow-blower away yet. SF

Good morning, Marines. Breakfast was my wife's quiche and english muffins. I'll be damned if it ain't good with a bit of hot sauce on it.

Started slinging some weights around this morning then took the pooch out for a quick lap around the block. Feeling real good, real steady; losing that bounce in my step and swaggering hips first like a strutting Marine should.

Light rain today, thunderstorms last night. Stayed up for a while planning my workout regimen, and then I played Far Cry 2 on my PC for a bit. I'll be damned if it ain't fun running around Africa blowing sh!t up from the comfort of your home.

Semper Fi, Godspeed and God bless

    Must be a SSgt thing!!!!
I like snow and look forward to what we get but when it turns spring I want spring.
I had hamburger make up and in a tupperware bowl in the ref and when I went to get one out they fell in the floor but bottom up and not hurt. I remembered the post about why peanut butter sandwiches hit the floor peanut butter side down.

    Hollywood, Florida's weather for today.
    Sunny 63ºF
    High/Low 84º/71º
    Relative Humidity 69 %
    Pressure 30.03 in
    Visibility 10 mi
    Wind Direction NNW

Up and at 'em early this morning. Breakfast was toast with peanut butter and a wee bit of honey along with an orange. It's not like the pepperoni pizza and beer breakfasts I used to have. LOL. Feel good enough to do some of the "Honey Do" chores that have headed in my direction. I guess as long as I can eat, sleep and sh*t I can do chores. Here's hoping that everyone has the best day possible.
It's good to know all of you.
    Gary

I complained enough on that other thread that all I can say is all is good.
Woke up early and got the kiddies off to school. No POV improvise adapt and overcome. No complaints about getting a little exercise and a lot of exercise as today turned out to be.

Great to see you up and at em gary.

Breakfast was a pot of coffee then off to the races on go hither and yonder. I stopped by my previous place of employment for some breakfast and sat down to eat with some old friends. Don't want to make it sound like butterflys and rainbows but time with friends improves the mood.

You all have a great out freakin standing Marine Corps day!

Top of the afternoon to ya. I work nights so this is morning for me. We got insane snow here just WNW of Chicago on Sat night and all morning Sun, which was fun since the state sent all the plow drivers off for the season and there is no salt left after all the snow this winter. Thank God we all know how to drive in the snow because IL don't shut down on account of it.

We have 14.3 inches of snow now, 4 more inches we break the record.
