Good Morning Pride of a nation. . .

Great news Andy. I'm sure you'll be blessed, and so will your family.

Coffee is on, and it's plentiful. Hot buttermilks on the griddle, eggs, bacon. . . . A feast for a king. Come and dine.

Thought for the day: We are safer in the storm God sends our way, than in a calm when we are befriended by the world.

Prayers outbound for those afar off defending our nation and serving those that are unable. You're lifted up this morning, praying for your safety and speedy return to those that love you, and to a grateful nation.

Remember: Never wait one day too long. . . .

Jagarland, you read the Good Book, you're off to a good start. Kindest regards, Gary Hall.

Good Morning Marines. . . Hope your three dayer is paying off in big dividends! Coffee is on, and it's plentiful. Sweet rolls in the oven. Come and dine. Another hot one on tap for the Bluegrass state.

Prayers outbound for those of you in need of prayer, and those serving our fellow man, and protecting our nation, for a safe and speedy return to those that love you, to include a nation ever grateful.

Remember: Don't wait one day too long. . . .

I got the ham all ready. You can have it cold or I can throw it in the skillet a few minutes.

Yes, today let us remember all our Marines and family members serving at this moment in harm's way.

For some reason I'm working harder on my day off than I do at work . The kids are still in the bed, if they don't wake up soon they will have cold cereal. The grass needs cut, a water pump needs replaced, and a shed needs finished. All that and there mom wants to visit today, geez.

It turned out good. She was a little nervous at first, but she was excited. I'll post a couple pics if I can figure out how.

Rise and shine Marines! First pot of coffee is already gone. Firing up another. This morning I got to eat duck and get the apartment ready for pest spraying.

Good morning Wing. . .Good morning Pride of a nation. Three dayer is over. Coffee is on, biscuits in the oven, and sausage gravy in the skillet.

Thought for the day: The storms of life no more indicate the absence of God than clouds indicate the absence of the sun.

Hope your day is filled with all you love, and more than you could ever desire. Prayers outbound for our men and women in harm's way, from an ever grateful nation.

Remember: Never wait one day too long. . . .

Ahhhhh, not a thing planned today . Don't go back to work until Wed. evening. Having been off since Friday afternoon, I'm getting a little antsy.

Good Morning Leathernecks. . . . Looks like rain today. Hope it doesn't disappoint me, we really need it.

Coffee's on, and it's good and strong this morning. Sweet rolls coming out of the oven shortly, oats w/brown sugar, raisins, and half/half. Come and dine. . .

You men and women protecting and serving on foreign soils, know in your hearts that you're appreciated, and that what you're doing is important. Prayers outbound for you this a.m., for your safety, and speedy return to those that love you. Your nation is grateful.

May your day be filled with all you love, and more than you could desire.

Remember: Never wait one day too long.

We should have a survey on crisp bacon v. chewy bacon. I like chewy bacon.

    Good morning Marines!

    ecfree,

You sure are having your share of weather this season!! Hanna looks like a pleasant shower compared to Ike, which is currently a Cat 4. Take good care!!

Today at Parris Island is a rare Thursday graduation day, as the Marine command is taking precautions against Hurricane Hanna and moving graduation day to Thursday. There's word of implemeting an evacuation plan for the balance of the Depot also. Wow! I bet the DI's are chomping at the bit to hump the nasties across SC and back around the storm. All sorts of new games to play, like "Hurricane Drills, Ready. Move!" and "Spit shine my Depot, Field Day. Begin!"
