    Good Morning Pride of a nation. . . . Coffee's on, it's hot, and it's strong!

Got a few steaks for frying this morning, eggs, hashbrowns, toast. . . .

Weather turning warmer this afternoon. Right now it's cool, I'm sitting on the back deck, and enjoying the wildlife.

Hope you all have a great day, and that it's filled with all you love, and more than you could desire.

Men in women in the theatre of war, I lift you up this morning. Please know there is a greatful nation waiting for your safe return.

    Come and dine. . .

Good Morning Marines! Sleepy head this morning. Had a late night with father-in-law last night! Suns up and a beautiful morning! Can I have a cup of coffee?Making Pancakes
    >
    > Six year old Brandon decided one Saturday morning to fix his parents
    > pancakes. He found a big bowl and spoon, pulled a chair to the counter,
    > opened the cupboard and pulled out the heavy flour canister, spilling it
    > on the floor.
    >
    > He scooped some of the flour into the bowl with his hands, mixed in most
    > of a cup of milk and added some sugar, leaving a floury trail on the
    > floor which by now had a few tracks left by his kitten.
    > Brandon was covered with flour and getting frustrated. He wanted this to
    > be something very good for Mom and Dad, but it was getting very bad.
    >
    > He didn't know what to do next, whether to put it all into the oven or
    > on the stove and he didn't know how the stove worked! Suddenly he saw
    > his kitten licking from the bowl of mix and reached to push her away,
    > knocking the egg carton to the floor. Frantically he tried to clean up
    > this monumental mess but slipped on the eggs, getting his pajamas white
    > and sticky.
    >
    > And just then he saw Dad standing at the door. Big crocodile tears
    > welled up in Brandon's eyes. All he'd wanted to do was something good,
    > but he'd made a terrible mess. He was sure a scolding was coming, maybe
    > even a spanking. But his father just watched him.
    >
    > Then, walking through the mess, he picked up his crying son, hugged him
    > and loved him, getting his own pajamas white and sticky in the process!
    >
    >
    > That's how God deals with us. We try to do something good in life, but
    > it turns into a mess. Our marriage gets all sticky or we insult a
    > friend, or we can't stand our job, or our health goes sour.
    >
    > Sometimes we just stand there in tears because we can't think of
    > anything else to do. That's when God picks us up and loves us and
    > forgives us, even though some of our mess gets all over Him.
    >
    > But just because we might mess up, we can't stop try ing to 'make
    > pancakes' for God or for others. Sooner or later we'll get it right, and
    > then they'll be glad we tried...
    >
    > I was thinking and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed,
    > friendships that need rekindling or three words needing to be said,
    > sometimes, 'I love you' can heal & bless! Remind every one of your
    > friends that you love them. Even if you think they don't love back, you
    > would be amazed at what those three little words, a smile, and a
    > reminder like this can do.
    >
    > Just in case I haven't told you lately... I LOVE YA!!!
    > Suppose one morning you were called to God; do all your friends know
    > you love them?

Thought I'd share this with my Marines this morning. TO YOU ALL:

Good morning everyone! A little hazy this morning near Beaufort and Parris Island! Currently 73 degrees. Possible chance of isolated thunderstorms. Highs around 87 degrees. Alpha, would you pour me a cup of coffee this morning? I'm tired.

A BIG "THANK YOU AND WE LOVE YOU. BE SAFE" to all you.

Good late morning. I'll skip the coffee and have a sweet tea, thanks any how. A nice 77. Time to cut the grass, or ahhh make my son cut it.
He kept begging me to cut the grass, but I wouldn't because he isn't quit old enough for the mower. After much begging and me warning him to be careful what you wish for I bought him a rotary mower( I think thats what you call them) at Lowe's. I love the way it cuts, and it takes no gas. He doesn't much like it and has become very careful what he asks for.

Good morning! Sleeping in is a luxury and reward for a tough week. Don't matter though, the grass up here needs cutting too. A few more pots of coffee and I'll get around to it.

    Good afternoon Marines!

Today I was at the golf course are 0505 and practiced until 0645, then returned home and gutted a 1/2 bathroom downstairs, complete removal and disposal completed in just under 9 hours minus a union authorized lunch break. New floor and walls are soon to be on the agenda. So I'm a bit behind on the wake up call but I'm on my game today.

Today at Parris Island, there is at least one recruit who will salute an officer left handed, and that recruit will pay dearly.
Brings a tear to my eye...

    Semper Fidelis Marines!

Good Morning Marines. . . . What a glorious morning it is in the Bluegrass State. No humidity, a cool start, temps in the mid to upper 80's today.

Breakfast of oats, with brown sugar and raisins, half and half, toast. Coffee is always on for those who would have a mind, come and eat, come and share, come and dine!

To our men and women in theatre's of war, I lift you up to our Lord and Saviour this morning asking for your protection, and safe return to a grateful nation.

Good Morning! Had a wonderful breakfast of microwaved waffles with the kids. My "DO" list is as long as my arm, maybe I'll go to Wal-Mart and hire an illegal or two.
You all have a wonderful day.

Good Morning Pride of a nation! What a wonderful morning God has given us. It's cool once again in the Bluegrass State. This makes about 7 or 8 straight days without airconditioning, and this is AUGUST. . . . So much for global warming!

Coffee is on my brothers and sisters. Haven't thought about breakfast just yet, the wife is getting ready to leave for a week, so guess it's up to me to figure out what I want. . . . . OH BOY BACON!

Ladies and gentlemen, I bid you to come and dine.

To our men and women in theatre's of war, I thank you for your service, and lift you up to our Lord and Saviour, asking for your safe and hurried return to a grateful nation.
