Marines Train on Big Island

MARINE CORPS BASE (KHNL) -- About 2,000 Marines and Sailors from Marine Corps Base and Okinawa, Japan will participate in a Hawaii Combined Arms Exercise at Pohakuloa Training Area on the Big Island from February 19 through 25.

During this exercise, they will conduct Squad and Platoon Live Fire, Fire Support Coordination and Command and Control exercises.

The training will allow Marines to be fully prepared for the rigors of combat.

Marines and Sailors have been training at Pohakuloa Training Area for many years.
