I'm new on this site and I'm not sure how to send a private message so I am just going to post my question on here.

If I cut my hair really short (above my shoulders) would it still have to be put up in a ponytail for boot camp? I don't know if I would have to put it up or keep it down. I leave this September and I love my long hair so I'm a little reluctant to cut it but if it makes things easier then I will. I can handle my hair relatively well since it's long and straight but I don't know if I should go ahead and chop it all off, what would you suggest?
