    1968 year book, San Diego

    I have a 1968 San Diego Marine Corps Recruit Depot album looking for someone to save and preserve. bought at a flea market for a pittance, free to Marine or museum.

    On this book is there a plt number on it, if so what is it. I graduated from San Diego, Ca in 1968 from boot camp and if this book has not been spoken for I would very much like to aquire it from you Jim

    sorry I don't understand what a pit number is. do you remember an instuctor's name? or the commanding officer? will look and try to suss out the 'pit number'.
    I just have to make sure I'm sending it to someone who really deserves it. I didn't make sure on one item and it was put up for sale on another web site. once I'm sure, I will send it to you free of charge. hope you understand.

    sherry towards the end of the book is a Platoon Number its that platoon number that is graduated thats why we are asking for the Platoon Number..also the book should contain Leonard F Chapman as Commandant of the Marine Corps..

    I was a member of Platoon 1126 which entered on 11 Nov 1968 and graduated in January, 1969 with Gy Sgt Hogwood as the SDI. If that is the book you have I would love it...

    I am looking for a Platoon 2072 bootcamp year book I graduated in September 1975. I have vietnam coins and an 1968 bootcamp album that I will trade for.

    Red Book

    Greetings fellow jarheads,

    I am still looking for a copy of my recruit yearbook.
    Honor Platoon 3065, started basic training at MCRD
    San Diego on, 13 july 1966 and graduated in september. Lead drill instructor was Gunnery Sgt. Miller. I have searched everwhere for the past 20
    years with no luck. Can anyone help?
