I joined VMFA-251 in 1976, Went on West-Pac in 77. Worked Seat/Shop on F-4js. As I live and breath I will never forget my tour with 251!!!

MWCS-38 from 1992 - 1994

Spent 6 months assigned to Tustin as well. I had a small comm. shop in the SW corner of the hangar. On weekends, we had to change the tower tapes. So since I was already there, I would roam the hangar and check out the Cobras.

Joined VMF 451 in El Toro in 1951. The squadron A/C were F4U Corsairs. We took the squadron to Kaneohe Bay in 51 for several months, then back to El Toro. I Joined VMA 251 at El Toro in 52 and we went to K6, Pyongtaek, Korea as a Skyraider squadron. I was a hydraulics mechanic with the outfit. My enlistment ran out while I was in Korea and I returned to the States after the armistice in 53.
