Some good songs in there. I knew the drummer of Bayside before he died. Cool guy. So is Mat from Bury Your Dead.

Yeah I was an active member in the Syracuse, NY scene and a smaller scene in the town I live in....until recently when I got sick of one of the local guys who though he was a "hot dog" and now I'm banned from shows. It sucks...something you helped build turning its back on you.

I know where you are coming from. I'm not banned from shows, just got tired of 16 year old kids trying to prove something to me. Too much babysitting, not enough unity and good times and support of local, or any, music. That and guys wearing make up, small shirts, and girls pants.

up here its camo shorts and field caps with "boston beatdown" mentalities

Meh, I can mesh with that. I used to hang out with alot of FSU guys when I lived in Seattle.

I will say that you are probably one of the few people I've talked to in a loooooong time that even knows what the hell Boston Beatdown is. Haha. All the kids around here think they are so tough, and I just laugh because anytime any large band comes into town (like Terror) these kids get put in check by the bigger, OG crews. Alot of kids don't have any respect these days. Or even know what it is to stand up for something. Or fight for something, not because its "tough and cool" but because its what is right. They all want to fight each other around here, and it ****es me off because it wasn't like that when I got involved. We fought Nazi wannabes at shows because it was what was right and now they fight each other to "prove something" and thats not what its about at all. They took what hardcore was supposed to stand for (unity, acceptance) and turned it into a peen measuring contest.

exactly, maybe thats why i chose The Marines lol. When I was 14(2001) I started going to shows and soooo much has changed since then. Before the wild hair, before the tight girl pants and eyeliner, before all of that when it was just kids having fun on a friday or saturday night and trying to educate people on certain matters.

the world's capitol - my attitude was take em to war
other places would've raised me in a useless format
in Texas they dream about hunting jews with Borat

    call me white ******

got stabbed up by puerto rican skins from Bushwick
Geraldo got his nose broken - Tawana Brawley on Donahue
central Park wildin had the world scopin
now VH1 got a show for wiggers
and some claim the jews be the biggest wiggers - we're considered
the most dangerous cause they think we shift our forms
cast spells & wear beanies to restrict our horns from being seen
growing out our heads - the killers of christ
these fools wear white sheets and believe that hitler was right
believe it or not they still exist undercover
and Mel Gibson never liked Danny Glover
another piece of **** called out in the paper - if we was there,
me and my peoples would have beat the ****in **** outta Kramer
if this song offends you, you're a hater - take a look within yourself
and figure out what the **** you're afraid of
