    Advice for Boot Camp

Heres a very good piece of advice from boot camp that was told to me by a senior company recruit the frist time I went to sunday school on like F-2 in the class room.

If there is one thing that you need at boot camp is CONFIDENCE. If you lack confidence, the Drill Instructors will tear you apart. You need confidence, and everything else will fall. Do not be the one that cannot take a screaming or smoking or can not look at a DI straight in the eye when they say eyeballs. If they sense fear or something like that, they'll just go in for the kill basically. Do not show weakness like that.

You also need to be in shape and have speed and intensity, but I think confidence is the biggest thing. DO NOT GO TO BOOT CAMP FAILING THE IST. You are just wasting everyones time and hurting the platoon. We had people not doing pullups till like 9th week. We got booger platoon and booger on PFTS.

As I remember it, if you showed confidence, 3 Smokies would kick it out of you.
