Greg I was with Whiskey 3/12 and made the landing at Chu-Lai on 7may65 attached to 1/4 then to 2/4 on Starlight. We were the only artty on site of Starlight.

1972 Spring offensive or Easter offensive which ever you want to call it. Danang with Whiskey/Tango VMFA-232 RED DEVILS. Had rockets come in regular and small arms fire from Dog Patch which we lived just across from and the sappers wanting to crawl in. Was with ground support there until we went to the jungle in Nam Phong , Thailand (The one and only ROSE GARDEN) Remained there until I returned to the states.

Hotel 2/4 when we were the 9th MAB, 26th RLT and then over to III MAF and then III MarDiv. Was with the 26th RLT in Okinawa at Camp Schwab with A Company 5th Medical Battalion. Instructed Rappeling and was in charge of physical exercise after Sergeant Adams went back to the States.
