Looking for Marines....Nam
Was in Vietnam 68-69 with HMM-362 flying around I corps. Squadron disbanded in July/Aug 68 while we were @ Phu Bai and we turned all of our 34s over to the VNAF. Was with HMH 463 during Frequent Wind/Eagle Pull April/May 75. Remember it as though it were yesterday.

In 1965 I was in 1st LAAM BN, on Monkey Mountain a few of us worked with SeaBee detachment, MCB 11 developing our missile complex. I met the deadly green bamboo snake on my shoulder, and the friendly gibbon apes who I got our commanders to accept as sentries because they made noises when the Vietnamese came around. Under the control of the VA I was safer in Vietnam than in civilian life in the USA.
