    Question College Credits

    I've read that some branches of the Armed Services honor college credits when you graduate boot and some recruits make E-2 or E-3, is this true with the Corps? And also if you complete a college course and recieve an Associates or Bachelors, does that help you make a higher rank also?

    Off duty education can help increase your cutting score for Cpl and Sgt. But, you are not getting promoted past PFC because of college. You get promoted for being a good Marine. Nothing more, nothing less.

    Thanks for the knowledge Echo Four Bravo, I planned on continuing my education if I make it into the Corps and making the most of the experience so that I'll have a future when I get out
