I think they're trying to recruit women and gays as well for less dangerous teams that will be called the "otters."

One of my aunts is dating a guy who claims to be a Marine, I havent let her know he's lying but I told my parents. His stories are wild, he claims that he would just borrow helicopters for a weekend and take his gf flying around hawaii, etc etc.
I wonder if this new movie will make him uncover his "top secret" identity as a navy seal too.

Well, if a fella was a pilot it did allow him to check out in a private plane and be able to rent it. A Lt. (Huey Pilot) that I was stationed with at MAG-24 (Kaneohe Bay) did that so he could take his family around the islands when they were there on vacation.
Funny part was it took him 3 tries to get checked out in a Cessna, he was a bit, short and couldn't see where he was going when he pulled the nose up to land. He finally took a booster pillow with him to set him up high enough to see.

Guy just left my store, says he was in the Corps, volunteered for Bud training. Get this, he says he was attached to the Navy Seals as a Marine, he and two Seals had a personal meeting with President Ronald Reagan, The Commandant, General Barrows, and the Secretary of the Defense to talk about "an assignment should the Berlin Wall "not fall" at the Pentagon. When I asked him who the Secretary of Defense was at the time he said he forgot!! My God man how can you forget Alexander Haig? Can this be true?

Not a SEAL but while I was working at Golden Corral, we had a new guy come in 4 sundays ago called Alonzo (he was former army). He found out I'm a marine by looking at my duffel bag in the closet and asking who it belonged to. Anyway, the guy was tasked with washing dishes.
He first tried to intimidate me by trying to talk to me within inches over my shoulder. He even started to "hug up" on me (I had to tell him I had a knife on my hand). I sent him to do pots for a while.
I asked him to come help me at the dishmachine and then it really starts. He tells me he was in Special Forces. Already smelling the bull****, I asked what he did with special forces. He couldn't give me a straight answer after asking the same question 4 consecutive times until he told me he was a weatherman with the "Special Forces". I left it at that and put him to do pots again.
During that conversation, I noticed he had this strange habit of grab/pinch his trachea. Others in the back kitchen start noticing that also until I finally asked him if there was anything wrong with him. He tells me he has been "throat sick" for a while and it makes him feel better. I asked him if he needed to rest and go home. He refused.
20 minutes later, he quit claiming he couldn't work because of his throat. That's right...a "special force" guy that could only last 4 hours and 12 minutes washing dishes and pots.

LOL, other than being a not so lean, not so mean, Marine I am also a pretty good poker player and the tugging on the neck is a classic sign of deception, if he was doing that while telling you his story, he was probably not telling the truth. Playing poker I would have called his bluff!
