The second annual edition of the African-American Yearbook, a national
resource guide created by TIYM Publishing Company Inc., will be launched at
the 93rd Annual NAACP Convention in Houston, Texas. The African-American
Yearbook is a useful resource that provides accurate information on areas of
business, education, defense and health for African Americans. The Marine
Corps has a sizable presence in the book, using 10 pages to highlight its
programs and benefits. TIYM President Angela Zavala will debut the book
during a banquet at the NAACP Convention tonight. CMC, Gen. James L. Jones,
will also be in attendance at tonight's events. The yearbook is similar to
the company's Hispanic Yearbook that was launched earlier this year.
