    Guess Who's Back

Well I'm back from MCRD Parris Island and I brought this with me . I graduated this morning and can't believe that it's over. All poolees feel free to ask me anything related to boot camp seeing how EVERYTHING is very fresh in my mind. I could tell stories for the rest of my life of just what I experienced in recruit training. I can't imagine what it will be like when i get out to the fleet. Semper Fi to all the Marines, and good luck to all the poolees.

    Good job....I have a question...

What could you do on the IST/PFT when you shipped?

  8. #8
My IST was 15 pullups, 70 something crunches, and 11:30 run before shipping.
My IST on the island was about the same.
My Initial PFT was 15 pullups, 100 crunches, 23:50 run for a score of 239.
My Final PFT was 20 pullups, 100 crunches, and a 24:00 run for a score of 263.

I'm working hard to improve my run times. I've always been a sprinter, so this distance thing is new to me. My goal for my next PFT is a 275.

Is it, Sir yes Sir! or just Yes Sir! when answering questions? Also when do you use Aye Sir vs. Aye Aye Sir when given an order.
