Also let us remember in a Prayer all of Our Brothers and Sisters who will not be Home for Christmas and especially those who are in Harm's Way.

Tommorrow is munchies and coffee cake and quiche all day....'open house' - for those friends who have to drive back n forth across town. A place for reprieve (a cold beer or another beverage of your liking)

Heavenly Christmas

I have had my first Christmas in Heaven:
A glorious and wonderful Day!
I stood with the saints of the ages,
Who found Christ, the Life, the Truth,
and the Way.

I sang with the Heavenly choir:
Just think! I who longed so to sing
And oh, what celestial music
We brought to our Saviour & King!


We sang the glad songs of redemption,
How Jesus to Bethlehem came,
And how they had called
His Name "Jesus",
That all might be saved through
His Name.

We sang once again with the angels,
The song that they sang that Blest Morn,
When shepherds first heard the glad story
That Jesus, the Saviour, was born.

Oh, how I wish you had been there:
No Christmas on earth could compare
With all of the rapture and glory
We witnessed in Heaven so fair.

You know how I always loved Christmas:
It seemed such a wonderful day,
With all of my loved ones around me:
The children so happy and gay.

Yes, now I can see why I have always
loved Christmas:
And oh! What a joy it will be
When you and my loved ones
are with me,
To share in the glories I see.

So, Dear Ones on earth,
here is my greeting:
"Look up till the day dawn appears,
And oh, what a Christmas awaits us
Beyond all of our partings and tears."

My prayer, for our guys and gals that are in harms way, is that the GODLESS bast**ds don't use CHRISTmas for an offensive. If they don't believe in God, then why his son. My prayers are with you all.

A Christmas Prayer


A CHILD'S VIEW

Snowflakes softly falling
Upon your window play,
Your blankets snug around you,
into sleep you drift away.

I bend to gently kiss you,
when I see that on the floor
There's a letter, neatly written,
I wonder who it's for.

I quietly unfold it
making sure you're still asleep,
It's a Christmas list for Santa--
one my heart will always keep.

It started just as always
with the toys seen on TV,
A new watch for your father
and a winter coat for me.

But as my eyes read on
I could see that deep inside
There were many things you wished for
that your loving heart would hide.

You asked if your friend Molly
could have another dad;
It seems her father hits her
and it makes you very sad.

Then you asked dear Santa
if the neighbors down the street
Could find a job, that he might have
some food, and clothes, and heat.

You saw a family on the news
whose house had blown away;
"Dear Santa, send them just one thing
a place where they can stay."

"And Santa, those four cookies
that I left you for a treat,
Could you take them to the children
who have nothing else to eat?"

"Do you know that little bear I have--
the one I love so dear?
I'm leaving it for you to take
to Africa this year."

"And as you fly your reindeer
on this night of Jesus' birth,
Could your magic bring to everyone
goodwill and peace on earth?"

"There's one last thing before you go--
so grateful I would be--
If you'd smile at Baby Jesus

I pulled the letter close to me;
I felt it melt my heart.
