    There are good reasons why we demand profiles, one of which being so we know who we're talking to. You might want to check out LASWMarine's profile and then correct your below statement........

    The UCMJ is not the be-all and end-all of the military legal "story." There are also matters as may be prescribed by the MCM and also matters pursuant to the exercise of Article 36 (the latter being at the pleasure of the President/CIC and theoretically only if not in conflict with the Code).

    I should have read this topic sooner, had no idea!

    Thank you first off for taking the time out of your day to give us advice and what to expect in the near future. I myself will be swearing in within 3 months. (promised the folks until I moved back home with them)

    I definitely will be studying my hardest to make sure that I never forget and lead as a good example to my peers. Also in rememberence to those who stepped forward before me and committed theirselves to our country.
