SSgt, I appreciate you taking the time to do this. Thank you so much. If any of us poolees fail this test, the fault lies in us. Thanks again.

The answer is yes you will:
you have classes as well as physical training... RT is not about making muscle bound killing machines... they want THINKING muscle bound killing Machines, and your Drill Instructors will instill all you need... you'll have something called "school Circle" to go over what you've learned in the classes... PAY ATTENTION, you DO NOT want to get dropped due to failing your "Prac Test" Your Drill Instructors will also give you a "Prac Pre-Test"

Time? Whenever you walk somewhere: "E-1 in the Marine Corps!" "SIR E-1 IN THE MARINE CORPS IS PRIVATE! HE WEARS NO RANK INSIGNIA SIR!" "Five Navy Crosses!" etc, etc. Not to mention the fact that you'll be taking the practice test about 5,678,189 times before the test. The only way you wouldn't get a freaking awesome grade on the 171 test is if maybe you were struck in the head by lightning and it made you retarded.

I do too Gunny but some are more concerned with being force recon and what electronic toys they can take into combat. The main focus of some doesent seem to be graduating recruit training and earning the title. No wonder the boot camp failure rate is more than one in ten.

Remember, you cannot use Semper Fi until you are actually a Marine! If you are discussing about a Semper Fi, then it is different, but not be using is to mean Ooorah, and the like. Ask Miss Elli or Jim Neilson if you don't believe me.
