    Recruit Knowlege

Recruits are required to have basic knowlege in a variety of of military subjects before they will be allowed to become a Marine. In third phase all recruits will be required to pass a written test of that knowlege. In an effort to give our Poolee's a head start and at the same time help the Corps each day I will post required knowlege on this thread. Its not a test at this time but will be one day for you. It would be of great help to you to familiarize yourselves with these subjects and the internet is a great tool for that. The first subject that I will cover is the Uniform Code of Military Justice or UCMJ as it more widely called among Marines. You will be subject to it as soon as you hit the yellow foot prints at the MCRD's. The UCMJ is the Congressional Code of Military Criminal Law applicable to all military members worldwide. You will first become aware of it in receiving before you are even picked up by a Platoon and meet your Drill Instructors.

    Remember Knowlege Is Power
