WAR RELATED ILLNESS AND INJURY STUDY CENTER
The Department of Veteran Affairs has instituted a new program designed to provide service to combat veterans, families, and health care professionals through clinical care, education, risk communication and research addressing potential environmental exposures and adverse health outcomes.
There is a National Referral program so veterans are able to be treated in either the Washington Dc VAMC or the East Orange NJ VAMC.
In short, if you have been exposed to any environmental hazardous agents, you may be able to recieve treatment, discuss difficult to diagnose disabilities, be given education relating to your health concerns and follow up treatment.
