Military IDs

ok, so all the experienced marine wives are telling me that the first thing i should do after hubby's graduation is go and get my military ID, cuz without it i won't be able to do jack. can i do that at Parris Island? or can i just get it at any military base (i'm kinda near an AFB)?

i am about 90 sure that you would have to wait until you are both permantly assigned to a base, as in assigned to a permanent duty post and all that paperwork goes through./

Once your Husband graduates boot you can get your ID card. You should
have him come with you. Make sure you both have all the proper paperwork, too. Call the AFB you are near, to see if you can get one there. You should be
able to, I've gotten mine at an Army base and a Navy base. Make sure he enrolls you in DEERS, as well.
Also, please remember to capitalize the M in Marine.
