Any Marines out there have the correct recipe for this good chow? There was one on the Sgt Grit news letter made with bacon grease and to tell you the truth it didn't taste like what I remember.

A friend of mine used to make it all the time. I will email her and see if she still has it. She did not make it with bacon grease.
